archivist --ask (RAG)

Flag reference for asking natural-language questions over your archive with a local Ollama model (--ask-model, streaming output). Archivist only connects to Ollama on 127.0.0.1; external hosts are rejected at runtime.

Browser extension

Install and use the Chrome extension: start the local extension server (--extension-server, bound to 127.0.0.1:7742 only), load the unpacked extension, and archive a conversation from claude.ai or chatgpt.com. Archive data goes only to localhost; app-level cloud adapters are default-off, with a linked privacy exception list.
