Independent checking is part of the package
Hand a package to another reviewer with a standalone verifier, without requiring them to trust Archivist's word. The verifier checks the package manifest and reports changed files.
Company and founder relationship
Archivist is produced by Centennial Defense Systems, Inc.. It was created by Christopher “CJ” Chanhnourack. These are related entities, not interchangeable identities.
Archivist and Archivist Sort are separate products from Centennial Defense Systems, Inc. Archivist is request-access investigative evidence software; Archivist Sort is a self-serve macOS cleanup utility with a free scan and plan and a $29 one-time execution license, available today at sort.archivist.tools.
Evidence boundary
Archivist is tamper-evident, not tamper-proof. Integrity does not establish authorship, and the tool makes no claim about legal admissibility.
